LAHORE: Federal Minister for Railways Khawaja Saad Rafique on Monday lashed out at the opponents, saying that artificial party like Pa Sarzameen Party (PSP) will never get anything.
Addressing the launch of the book “Zinda Tareekh” written by veteran politician Javed Hashmi, Khawaja Saad Rafique said that accountability of few people for the fate of the nation is unaccepted. He said that Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) is proud to make Nawaz Sharif its president despite being disqualified.
The minister continued that party leaders respect Nawaz Sharif and will always act on his directives as he is loyal to the people of Pakistan.
He termed the Charter of Democracy an important document after the 1973 Constitution. He said political battles should be fought in the court of people not in the judicial courts and that people like Javed Hashmi were the national assets, who had struggled for democracy throughout their life.
Saad Rafique viewed that politicians made mistakes and then learnt lessons and that process was linked with democracy. Let the democracy work freely as interventions would only stop it from progressing, he added.
