Afghan Minister arrives in Russia

KABUL (BNA): Mawlawi Habib Agha, the acting Minister of Education, embarked on an official visit to Russia.

The press office of the Ministry of Education announced today, June 8th, the acting Minister of Education went on an official trip to Kazan, Russia, to participate in the second International Meeting of Education Ministers.

At this meeting, the acting Minister of Education, Mawlawi Habib Agha, will deliver a detailed speech on Afghanistan’s educational situation, achievements, opportunities, and challenges. Additionally, he will hold discussions with education ministers from various countries to explore further cooperation and exchange ideas on educational development.

According to a source, the acting Minister of Education is also scheduled to hold separate meetings with several education ministers from the participating countries on the sidelines of this trip.

It is worth noting that this meeting will last for four days, during which the participants will discuss the opportunities, progress, and challenges facing the education systems of their countries, and explore solutions to the existing problems.

The Ministry of Education in a statement on Saturday said that in the forum, Agha will give a speech on the education situation in Afghanistan and the achievements, opportunities and problems in this sector.

The statement added that Agha will also meet with the education ministers of different countries.

The second international forum of education ministers, titled “Shaping the Future,” is scheduled to take place in Kazan from June 9 to 12.
