APC rejects proposed delimitation of constituencies

NOWSHERA: All Parties Conference (APC) rejected the new proposed delimitation of constituencies and termed it a pre-planned rigging before the general elections.

Leaders of all political parties held a meeting at Nokhar house of Ikhtiar Wali Khan on Wednesday. On the occasion Central General Secretary of Awami National Party (ANP), Mian Iftikhar Hussain said that Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Pervez Khattak is the real force behind the new proposed constituencies in the district to get political benefits in the upcoming election.

He added that CM Khattak interfere in the new proposed delimitation of constituencies and wants the delimitation on their own wishes.

ANP claimed that the recent move of CM Khattak is a try to stop the general elections of 2018 and also trying to stop the democratic process in the country. Pervez Khattak knows that people will reject them in the upcoming election so that’s why he are trying to delay the general election with different but we will not allow him to succeed in his filthy business, he blamed.

Disgruntled MNA of PTI, Siraj Muhammad Khan, MPA Qurban Ali, ANP District President Malik Juma Khan, Former MPA Pervaiz Ahmed Khan, former MPA Baseer Ahmed Khattak, PPP District President Malik Ghulam Hazrat, PML-N District president Sahibzada Hamza Pervaiz, Wali-u-Rehman of QWP, Mufti Hakim Ali Haqqani, Amir Mufti Dr Shaukatullah, Engineer Alam Khan of JI and others spoke on the occasion.

They condemned and rejected the proposed delimitation of constituencies in the district and termed it political trick of the Pervez Khan and also criticized the election commission of Pakistan for constituting the area without consultation of the concerned parties of the area. The meeting constituted two committees to raise the issue on the concerned platform and delivered the political parties reservations to the election commission of Pakistan.
