Asma case: Police role hailed

MARDAN: Markaz-e-Tanzeem-e-Tajiraan Mardan (MTTM) on Thursday lauded the positive role of police administration in the district to solve the blind murder case of Asma within one month.

In this regard, a delegation of traders led by MTTM president Ihsanullah Bacha met District Police Officer (DPO) Dr. Mian Saeed Ahmed at his office. The trader representatives appreciated the local Mardan police officials as saying that police had solved the blind murder of four years-old Asma with availability of CCTV potage or other clear evidences.  On the occasion, the district police officer Dr. Mian Saeed Ahmed thanked the traders community for their appreciation and support. He claimed that the gruesome case of minor Asma was a testing and challenging one especially for police of the district.

”We worked day and night on available resources to trace out the alleged accused in the murder case of 4-years old baby girl,” he told the traders’ delegation. Due to police focus and full concentration on the incident they succeeded to trace the accused within 25-days since occurrence of the mudered. He, however, denied allegation form some quarters that they police officials of district Mardan had committed negligence in the rape and murder of four-years old Asma and tried to hide any facts in the case.
