F.P. Report

KARACHI: Bakhtawar Bhutto Zardari, daughter of former president and PPP Co-Chairman Asif Ali Zardari, has contracted COVID-19 and now isolated herself.

Bakhtawar confirmed the news in a tweet she posted on Wednesday: “I tested positive for COVID-19 on April 2nd isolating and recovering.”

Bakhtawar Bhutto also cautioned people to adhere to the corona SOPs to contain the virus. “Just a reminder to keep being cautious, call people out if their masks don’t cover their nose, get vaccinated and help those less fortunate to get vaccinated too. May Allah keep us all safe. Aameen.” Bakhtawar Bhutto had got married in February this year.

Earlier, Bilawal Bhutto Zardari had contracted COVID-19 and recovered from the virus successfully.

It may be mentioned that NCOC has put corona restrictions including closure of schools, early closure of markets, ban on transport service on weekends and strict corona SOPs in the wake of the third wave of COVID-19 across the country.
