Barrister Zahoor passed away

PESHAWAR: Barrister Zahoor-ul-Haq has passed away at the age of 94 years and his funeral prayer was offered on Tuesday while legal fraternity condoled with the bereaved family on the departure of senior lawyer.
The deceased was elected Senator twice in 1973 and 1980 respectively while severed two times as Advocate General as well as Khyber Pakhtunkhwa caretaker minister for Law.
Barrister Zahoor-ul-Haq has served the public as lawyer for 55 long years while considered an authority in legal subject and known for his courage and professionalism among the public servant and institutions.
The deceased was brother of late Dr. Siraj-u-Din and Brother-in-law of Late Justice Jalal-un-Din Jee. Former Chief Justice Peshawar High Court Justice Dost Muhammad Khan said that Barrister Zahoor-ul-Haq was a professional lawyer and man of dignity.
Retired Justice Dost Muhammad Khan claimed that gap created due to departure of Barrister Zahoor can’t be within decades and added that the deceased has uphold voice of voiceless to obtain justice for them. He show condolence with bereaved family prayed for high ranks for the deceased in Jannah.
