Bilateral ties to increase cooperation in science

KARACHI: An Agreement regarding Bilateral Cooperation between Pakistan and Ethiopia to increase cooperation in science, technology, engineering and education for mutual benefit and peaceful purposes held in the Office of Ministry of Science & Technology, Government of Pakistan at Islamabad.

During the visit of Ethiopian official delegation led by Minister of State Dr. Fozia Ameen, an agreement was signed between two countries and from Pakistan the Agreement was signed by Mr. Zainul Abidin, Director General, Pakistan Standards & Quality Control Authority on behalf of Ministry of Science & Technology.

This cooperation has a crucial importance in establishing a framework to increase cooperation in Science, Technology, Engineering and Education for mutual benefit and peaceful purposes between the Science and Education Communities in both the countries.

All activities under this agreement will be undertaken in collaboration with partners in Ethiopia and Pakistan. The diplomatic ties between both the nations were establishment in 1958, since then Pakistan and Ethiopia have enjoyed a cordial relationship and made great progress on bilateral, regional and international concerns.
