LAHORE: Shehbaz Sharif, Chief Minister of Punjab has said that the recent by-election of Chakwal shows that people support the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz’s (PML-N) policies for the development of the country and rejected the negative politicians.
As per the unofficial result, Haider Sultan of PML-N candidate won the PP-20 Chakwal-I by-election, bagging 75,655 votes and his opponent of PTI candidate Tariq Afzal secured 45,702 votes.
CM Shehbaz added that people recognized the real face of political jokers and their negative politics and now the rival should realize that what are they doing and what response they are getting from the people in terms of voting.
The recent victory of PML-N assured the PML-N success in the coming election, he added.
