CM approves E-transfer policy for education deptt

PESHAWAR: Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Mahmood Khan on Friday formally approved Electronic Transfer policy for the education department of the province.

Speaking on approval of policy the Adviser to Chief Minister on Elementary and Secondary Education Department (E&SED), Ziaullah Bangash said that the government has deiced that transfers of teachers would be made on the basis of performance.

He added that E-transfer policy being online would save the precious time of teachers and students.

“Work is in progress on the online application for E-transfer policy,” he said and added that within a week the application would be launched in all districts of province.

Ziaullah Bangash said that education department would ask for submission of applications for the vacant posts once in a year and candidate would be bound to apply and follow the official process within the due dates.

“Transfers would be made once in year in the beginning of the year,” he stated, adding that district cadre positions would be in-transferable.

“Transfers would be made only on vacant positions and posts,” he maintained and said that spouse or matrimonial policy would be in practice for the under developed villages and areas.

He said that spouse or matrimonial policy would be adopted only after the adjustments of permanent residents.

The adviser continued that if the number of students would be higher for a teacher then his/her transfer would not be considered and would continue performing duty in the same educational institution.

“While if the number of teachers exceeds for the ratio of students number fixed by the government then they would be transferred.

“The teacher would take a total of nine test from the students throughout the year and would give them marks accordingly,” he said.
