LAHORE: Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader and former federal minister Daniyal Aziz has rejected the party’s show-cause notice to him.
In his three-page reply on Wednesday, Daniyal Aziz rejected the party’s stance.
“There was no violation of party’s discipline and policy,” Daniyal Aziz categorically stated, saying party leadership should give time for the meeting so that he could give explanation.
“Ahsan Iqbal held rallies for his son in my constituency,” the PML-N leader said, adding: “I talked about Ahsan Iqbal’s failures as the planning minister.”
According to the rules, Ahsan Iqbal is responsible for the economic problems, he further said. “I am going through various medical operations, so I could not give a timely answer,” he added.
PML-N Punjab President and former federal interior minister had issued the show-cause notice on December 2, 2023.
