The government and organizations like World Health Organization pursued people like every way to convince them on social distancing in the recent situation erected by coronavirus but it seems their efforts are wasted as these people in Peshawar like in other parts of the province and country have been mingling and busy in routine social activities.
I observe that people holding gatherings in different public spots, markets crowded with them, they have no fears of what is being warned about.
People meet, shake hands, hug, bump into each others in markets, wear no masks and even pushing in queues either in front banks or doing groceries.
People, I hear them saying, corona is just a rumour, and their this stance also misguide others and they also start acting like them.
All this causing the spread of this deadly disease and number of infected persons in increasing day by day and have jeopardized the society.
In other words such people are death traders. Their such acts have been trading death in society.
Government and organizations are still making untiring efforts but sans the sense of social responsibility of following social distancing their efforts will not prove fecund and reach any point.
People must act sensible as this disease is lives taking disease and spread lightning fast if social distancing is not kept.
I urge those who really understand this threat must reach out to help the government and organizations like WHO in its cause of saving lives and establishing a healthy society.
