Delegations Association of Builders & Developers visits HBFC office

KARACHI: A seven-member delegation of the Association of Builders and Developers (ABAD) led by its chairman Mr. Fayyaz Ilyas visited House Building Finance Company Limited (HBFC) Head Office.

Imran Ahad, MD & CEO, HBFC along with his team of senior officials including Group Head – Business & Operations, Mr. Faisal Murad, Group Head – Credit, Mr. Muhammad Kamran and Group Head – Recovery & SAM, Mr. Syed Asad Ali Jafri welcomed the delegation from ABAD.

ABAD is a representative organization which works for unifying and streamlining the construction activities of the private sector for the promotion of housing industry in the country. The organization explores prospects of large-scale projects in the public sector and acts as a consortium of ABAD members to secure and execute the projects.

The two sides exchanged views on areas of mutual interest and explored ways to enhance end-user mortgage financing for housing projects initiated by the Association of Builders and Developers.

As the oldest housing finance institution in Pakistan established by the Government of Pakistan, House Building Finance Company Limited expressed commitment to develop the housing finance industry in Pakistan and to lend full support to projects that are currently being undertaken by ABAD to facilitate home ownership.
The institution also shared insights about the developmental stages of mortgage financing from across the region.

The delegation appreciated the role played by HBFC in the growth & development of housing and construction industry in the country through its diverse housing finance solutions. They expressed their commitment to work with the DFI as they have worked in the past for the growth of development sector in Pakistan.
