Energy delegation to visit Iran for electricity solutions in Herat

KABUL (Agencies): A delegation from the Ministry of Energy and Water of Islamic Emirate is set to visit Iran with the aim of addressing the electricity shortage in Herat province. According to a statement from the Ministry of Energy and Water, Minister Mullah Abdul Latif Mansour discussed the extension of the electricity import contract from Iran and the electricity shortage in Herat province in a phone call with Ali Akbar Mehrabian, the Minister of Energy of the Islamic Republic of Iran. The statement further revealed that it was decided during this call that an Islamic Emirate delegation would travel to Iran to closely discuss these issues. Ali Akbar Mehrabian, Iran’s Minister of Energy, has pledged his cooperation in resolving these problems.
