Fazl to lead govt’s janaza soon: Aimal Wali

F.P. Report

TIMERGARA: Awami National Party provincial president Aimal Wali Khan has said that Maulana Fazl ur Rehman would soon lead the funeral prayer of the Pakistan Tehreek Insaf government. He was addressing a party workers’ convention at Timergara here on Tuesday. The gathering was also addressed by the ANP senator Haji Hidayatullah, MPA Haji Bahadar Khan, ANP central vice president Hussain Shah Yousafzai, party candidate for Timergara tehsil top slot Malik Sajjad Yousafzai and others.
Aimal Wali said the PTI government was a guest for only five days. He said the ‘selected’ prime minister had nothing to do with the country and its constitution, rather he only wanted to stick around the chair of premiership and for this purpose he was ready even to set the whole country on the fire. He said the ANP always struggled for limiting the role of ‘selectors’ and restoration of democracy in the country. Criticizing the Jamaat-i-Islami, he said it had always deceived the masses on the name of Islam and earned Dollars during the Afghan-Russia war.
The ANP leader said the Prime Minister had even agreed to sacrifice his close aide the ‘Wasim Akram plus’ (the CM Punjab Usman Buzdar) to save his sinking boat. He claimed the days of the government were numbered and it was taking its last breaths.
He said that the PTI MNAs who were opposing the government policies would exercise their votes according to their inner conscience. He said that Pakistan was passing through a crucial stage and the ANP would not hesitate to struggle for democracy.
