PESHAWAR: The foreign players of Peshawar Zalmi are all geared up for the Pakistan Super League Season 5 and especially for a full season in Pakistan for the first time. In their separate tweets the players say they cannot wait to come to Pakistan for PSL 5. Interestingly, the tweets were in Urdu language and not in English.

In his latest tweet England’s Tom Banton said he was ready to come to Pakistan and was packing up his luggage for the tour. “How are you Pakistanis? I am ready for PSL 5 in Pakistan and for sixes and fours of Peshawar Zalmi,” Banton said in his tweet while asking Pakistanis to get ready for coming to stadiums to watch the matches.

Similarly, Banton’s countryman Liam Dawson also tweeted asking Zalmi fans if they were ready for PSL 5. “I am coming to Pakistan. Are Zalmi fans ready ?” Dawson tweeted. He further said that his mouth is watering with thinking of Chapli Kabab and Dum Pukht, the two of the delicious dishes of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

Last but not the least, the Zalmi captain Darren Sammy of West Indies said he could not wait to join his Zalmi family and holding PSL 5 in Pakistan means a lot for the Pakistani fans. “I am on my way to Pakistan and this journey is more than Cricket,” Sammy said in his tweet.

Meanwhile, Chairman Peshawar Zalmi Javed Afridi welcomed Sammy in Pashto by tweeting Pakhair Raghlay Sammy Khan.
