Free medical camp for orphan children held

PESHAWAR (APP): The Children of Zamong Kor were given free medical check-up and medicines under the Free Medical Camp initiative for destitute children living in the Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Model Institute for State Children (Zamong Kor) organized by Pakistan Development Foundation (PDF) with the support of Zarmina Foundation.
Seven hundred children of the institution benefited from this camp. The team of doctors under the initiative have created individual medical files of each student which will be updated after every checkup activity.
The children were also trained regarding personal hygiene on how to wash their hands,, to avoid diseases by keeping their body clean, the importance of keeping their teeth clean and other issues to ensure the health of these children is safe. Free dental kits were also distributed among the children participating in the camp.
Chairman of Pakistan Development Foundation Bilal Sethi, also the chief guest of the event along with General Secretary, Malik Mubasher Khan, Chairman Zarmina Foundation Malik Shahid Khan, CEO Triumphant Trading, Muhammad Aizaz Sethi and prominent Social Activist, Beenish Irfan Khan and administrative staff of Zamong Kor visited the camp and inquired about problems of the children.
On this occasion, Chairman Pakistan Development Foundation (PDF) Bilal Sethi said that a medical camp benefits hundreds of patients.
In this era of inflation, we have to support each other. He further said that he will support the institutions that raise orphans. Appreciating the camp organizers, he said that it is because of those who think of others that this world is alive.
He said that in view of the current economic situation, the role of social organizations is commendable. Social organizations are the right arm of the government.
Prominent social personality, Beenish Irfan, who for the last eighteen years is carrying out her social service duties personally administered a large number of medicines to the children of Zamong Kor.
She said that these children are an important part of our society, we should pay special attention to these children so that in future they may play their role in the building the strong economy.
Apart from this, the volunteer team of Pakistan Development Foundation (PDF) in Shaheed Benazir Bhutto Women University Peshawar also collected donations for the medical camp and participated fully.
