German ambassador Kobler leaves for Germany after completing his tenure in Islamabad

ISLAMABAD: German Ambassador Martin Kobler has for Germany after completing his tenure of two years as an ambassador in Pakistan.

Kobler said in his tweet, he thanked people of lovely Pakistan and paid them gratitude for their love and respect.

“Happy to come back to travel. Pakistan will always keep a firm place in my heart”, Kobler continued in his tweet.

Martin Kobler took over as Ambassador of Germany in August 2017 and after then the bilateral relations between the two countries had gained strength and the interaction in various fields had considerably improved.

Earlier on Tuesday, Martin Kobler had paid a farewell call on President Dr Arif Alvi at the President House in Islamabad.

The president had congratulated him on successful completion of his tenure as Ambassador of Germany to Pakistan.

The president also extended best wishes for his personal and family life.
