Governor condemns Bajaur blast

PESHAWAR, (APP): Governor Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Haji Ghulam Ali on Sunday expresses deep sorrow and heartfelt sympathy with the grieving families over the loss of innocent precious lives in the Bajaur explosion and directed for helicopter facility.
In this moment of grief, Haji Ghulam Ali stands united with the affected families. The Governor has instructed the Commissioner and Deputy Commissioner of Bajaur to ensure immediate medical aid for the injured.
He firmly oppose granting permission to anyone from any religion to shed the blood of innocent humans. Haji Ghulam Ali considered those who spill the blood of innocent people as enemies of humanity.
Governor prayed for the elevation of the martyrs of the Bajaur explosion and the speedy recovery of the injured.
In compliance with the Governor’s orders, a helicopter has been sent to Bajaur to transfer the injured from the explosion to hospitals in Peshawar.
Immediate contact has been made with the Chief Secretary.
All hospitals, including Lady Reading Hospital in Peshawar, have been placed on high alert to handle the situation.
Instructions have been given to ensure the availability of all medical assistance for the injured from the Bajaur blast in Lady Reading Hospital and other medical facilities.
Haji Ghulam Ali emphasizes the need for alertness among medical staff and the provision of full medical support to the wounded from the Bajaur explosion.
Minister Information condemns Bajaur blast
Caretaker Minister for Information Barrister Feroze Jamal Shah Kakakhel on Sunday strongly condemns the deadly blast at JUIF political gathering in Bajaur.
The explosion has resulted in the loss of over 35 lives and left around 200 injured, said Barrister Feroz Jamal Shah Kakakhel.
The provincial minister expressed profound grief and sorrow sympathies with the bereaved families of the deceased in the blast.
The Chief Minister has ordered an immediate investigation into the incident to ascertain the cause and hold those responsible accountable, said Barrister Feroz Jamal Shah Kakakhel.
He said that the injured have been shifted to hospitals for medical treatment and emergency has been declared in nearby districts’ hospitals to handle the increasing number of casualties. The provincial government remains steadfast in its determination to eliminate terrorism from the region, Barrister Feroz Jamal Shah Kakakhel added.
Taj Muhammad Afridi condemns Bajaur Blast, directs authority for relief works
PESHAWAR (APP): Provincial caretaker minister for Relief and Rehabilitation Taj Muhammad Afridi expressed deep grief and sorrow over the Bajaur blast on Sunday.
He said that the relief efforts are underway.
He said that authorities of the relief department have been directed to take necessary actions. The provincial minister vowed to tackle the malevolent elements and enemies of peace with utmost severity.
He said that the people would not be left alone in this difficult hour and said that rescue teams are actively engaged in emergency operations at the scene.
