ISLAMABAD: Minister for Planning and Development Khusro Bakhtyar has expressed optimism to resolve all outstanding issues regarding determination of Net Hydel Profits.
He was chairing a meeting of the committee constituted by Council of Common Interests to deliberate upon the issue in Islamabad today.
The committee agreed that payment of Net Hydel Profits to provinces is a constitutional obligation.
It also agreed to continue to deliberate on the issue of determination of rates for early resolution of the issue and submit its report to the forthcoming meeting of Council of Common Interests.
