Hanafi called on investors to invest in Afghanistan

KABUL (Agencies): Deputy Prime Minister of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan, in a meeting with the special representative of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation for Afghanistan, called on the Islamic countries’ investors to invest in the sectors of mines, energy production and transportation in Afghanistan.
The Deputy Prime Minister, Mawlavi Abdul Salam Hanafi, met with Tariq Ali Bakheet, the special representative of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation for Afghanistan, according to a statement released by his office.
Mr. Bakheet shared details, on the recent meeting of the foreign ministers of the member countries of the organization, in which the continuation of humanitarian aid to Afghanistan was stressed according to him.
He said that a technical team to assess the needs for more humanitarian aid in Afghanistan will travel to Afghanistan in the near future.
For his part, Mr. Hanafi, welcoming that OIC cooperation, said that Afghanistan need more attention for help in many sectors, including improving the capacity of human forces, health and other sectors.
“The security has been maintaine throughout the country, general amnesty has been announced, administrative corruption reached to zero and drug trafficking and dealing, which was a great calamity for the whole world, has been eradicated” Hanafi reminded.
He said that if the representatives of the Islamic Emirate are invited to the assemblies of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation at different levels and consult with them directly, it will have an effective result.
