ISLAMABAD: Chief of Awami Muslim League (AML), Sheikh Rasheed has said that the Hudaibia Papers mills case is the mother of all corruption cases and trail will be held for these cases.
This he said while talking to media persons after the Supreme Court rejected the review petitions of Sharif family and Ishaq Dar on Friday.
Sheikh Rasheed said that Sharif family and their lawyers failed to point out any legal irregularity in verdict of Panama case by SC on July 28. Today’s decision of SC is a historical one and it will be a base for the accountability of the elite class of the country, he added.
On Friday (today) SC dismissed all the review petitions filed by the former prime minister Nawaz Sharif and his children and Finance Minister Ishaq Dar against the panama paper judgment. The apex court maintained the decision of Nawaz disqualification.
The SC decision was complete and comprehensive, authentic and historical and the PML-N lawyers were failed to point any irregularity in it, Rasheed added.
Sheikh Rashid notified that Sharif family lawyers only argued over the past facts but the SC verdict was comprehensive, authentic and historical that all the review petitions were dismissed by the court.
