ISLAMABAD: Political and constitutional experts have emphasized that to end the current constitutional crisis, the Chief Justice should take all the judges of the Supreme Court with him. That this is a four-three decision, if this matter is not resolved, the crisis may intensify.
Speaking on PTV program on Saturday, Pakistan Muslim League-N leader Akhtar Wali Khan said that on the first day he said that it was a four-three decision, the majority of judges declared the hundred-moto action wrong, unconstitutional and illegal. Diya, the dissenting note makes it clear that he did not separate himself from the bench but was separated, and also made it clear that the decision was four to three, the majority taking suo moto action has been rejected, no political party allied to the government and the Attorney General were allowed to speak in the court, Pakistan cannot afford any more crisis, so the Chief Justice of Pakistan will have to take the judges along.
He said that Imran Khan is following a foreign agenda, his party has been getting foreign funding, arrest warrants have been issued for Imran Khan but he is not arresting, now Imran Khan is talking about revolution but he is a coward. So much so that he is afraid of going to jail. He said that Imran Khan ruled for four years, let him tell where are one crore jobs, five million houses and three hundred dams? There should be negotiations between the political parties to get out of the crisis.
Barrister Amir Hassan, the leader of Pakistan People’s Party, said that the judges of the Supreme Court have the same status legally, four judges have said that they have rejected Somoto’s action. And there was no need to go under 184/3, the Chief Justice of Pakistan should take the brother judges along so that this crisis does not escalate further, Justice Athar Manullah has clearly said in his dissenting note that he is the bench. has been set aside, the Chief Justice should convene a meeting on the matter. He said that PPP gave the constitution to this country and next week we are going to celebrate its golden jubilee.
He said that the President’s job is not to make the Parliament legislate and send the bill back. He said that all the political parties are of the opinion that elections should be held in the country one day, the Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa assemblies were dissolved on malicious grounds, if the right decision is not taken at that time regarding the elections, instead of ending instability in the country, more will increase, there should be negotiations between political parties, Imran Khan should support the coalition government for electoral and judicial reforms. He said that Imran Khan created political instability and constitutional crisis in Pakistan during his rule, destroyed the country’s economy, terrorism has resurfaced, we need collective efforts to deal with all these challenges.
