ISLAMABAD: The medical reports of Bushra Bibi, the wife of former prime minister Imran Khan who underwent a series of medical tests at Al-Shifa International Hospital, Islamabad, turned out to be normal, on Saturday.
The tests included an ECG, echocardiogram, ultrasound, and endoscopy.
According to sources, all test results have returned normal, indicating a stable health condition.
Despite the comprehensive nature of the tests, Bushra Bibi opted not to proceed with a blood test. Minor gastro-related issues were noted, but they are not a cause for significant concern.
Upon completion of the medical evaluation, copies of Bushra Bibi’s medical reports are set to be sent to the Jail Superintendent, PIMS Hospital, and Dr. Asim of Shaukat Khanum Hospital.
Earlier, Bushra Bibi was brought from Sub-Jail Bani Gala to Al-Shifa International Hospital amid tight security. Islamabad Police and FC personnel remained alert at the hospital for the security of Bushra Bibi.
A heavy contingent of female police also remained present outside the hospital during the medical procedure of Bushra Bibi.
Adiala Jail doctors and Dr Asim Yusuf of Shaukat Khanum Hospital also accompanied Bushra Bibi.
