Indian citizens must realise their PM is putting them in harm for political gains: Umar

F.P. Report

ISLAMABAD: Finance Minister Asad Umar on Tuesday said Indian citizens should realise that their prime minister is putting them in harm for political gain.

“India WILL get a response. The time and manner of response will be chosen by Pakistan. Indian citizens must understand that their prime minister is putting Indian citizens in the harms way for political gain by initiating a conflict INDIA CANNOT WIN,” Umar tweeted following his news conference alongside Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi and Defence Minister Parvez Khattak.

During the news conference, Foreign Minister Qureshi informed reporters about decisions taken in National Security Committee (NSC) meeting chaired by Prime Minister Imran Khan. The NSC rejected Indian claims of targeting an alleged terrorist camp near Balakot and concluded that Pakistan would decide the time and place of response to the aggression.

Indian military aircraft violated the Line of Control as they intruded from the Muzaffarabad sector but were forced to return owing to the timely response of the Pakistan Air Force, Director General Inter Services Public Relations Major General Asif Ghafoor said early Tuesday.
