Interior Minister Naqvi, Sindh Governor discuss political, economic situation

KARACHI: Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi has said that strict actions were necessary to eliminate street crimes from Karachi and the federal government was ready to give complete support to the Sindh government in this regard.

Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi said this while talking to Governor Sindh Kamran Khan Tessori at the Governor’s House in Karachi.

During the meeting, Naqvi also discussed with Kamran Tessori the current political and economic situation of the country and the role of security forces in establishing law and order.

On the occasion, Naqvi told Tessori that all resources would be used for the establishment of peace and order in the country especially in Karachi.

Governor Sindh said the federation and the provinces were on the same page in the elimination of crimes. Tessori also appreciated Mohsin Naqvi’s public welfare initiatives as Chief Minister of Punjab, adding that Mohsin Naqvi was famous for completing public projects in Punjab with lightning speed.

Tessori further said he as Governor Sindh completed various development projects within 2 to 3 months which were pending from the last several years. Moshin Naqvi also appreciated the Sindh Governor’s welfare initiatives.

Later Interior Minister along with Sindh Governor visited the ration drive and IT marquee.

On the occasion, Mohsin Naqvi said that he heard a lot about free classes of IT, but Governor Sindh has done a remarkable service. Governor Sindh also advised the students not to be disappointed as the economy of the country was improving day by day.
