Khursheed Shah proposes joint session of Parliament to give strong response to US

ISLAMABAD: Opposition Leader in National Assembly Syed Khursheed Shah proposed to call a joint sessions of parliament after the Eid-ul-Azha with the aim to given a strong response to the US for its new policy for region and allegations against Pakistan.

Khursheed Shah said this while addressing to 45th session of the National Assembly here on Wednesday. Shah criticized the foreign policy of Pakistan for failing in bringing the positive results in favor of Pakistan and present government didn’t even bother to appoint a foreign minister in last four years and result is now we seen.

If the government appointed even Abid Sher Ali as foreign minister, the opposition would have accepted but it was failed, Shah added.

Shah further added that Pakistan should ask evidence from Washington regarding the allegations that President Trumps leveled against Pakistan and if they provide than share it with the parliament.

Opposition leaders also criticized Pakistan poor relations with the neighboring countries and most of them they are become threat for us as we were failed to engage our neighbors in good relations and our eastern neighbor India took advantage of this situation and trying to using it against the Pakistan.
