MOSCOW (TASS): Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov and US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken discussed by phone on Wednesday the prospects for the restoration of the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action on the Iranian Nuclear Program (JCPOA). This is stated in a statement released by the Russian Foreign Ministry.
“The interlocutors exchanged views on the prospects for restoring the full implementation of the Joint Comprehensive Action Plan for the settlement of the Iranian nuclear program, and also discussed a number of topical issues on the bilateral agenda,” the statement said.
The conversation took place at the initiative of the American side.
