ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) Vice President Maryam Nawaz Sharif said Results Transmission System (RTS) and Daska ‘fog’ technology will not work now.
PML-N Leader tweeted after the government ministers insisted that Supreme Court in its opinion asked for use of technology to conduct the Senate polls 2021 to stop the corrupt practices and use of money.
Maryam Nawaz questioned why the government is afraid of power of vote as now government is propagating for use of technology in Senate polls.
She said it has been proved once again that the Constitution of Pakistan is far above from the tricks of ‘vote thieves’, ‘malicious’ references and ‘conspiratorial’ ordinances.
PML-N General Secretary Ahsan Iqbal said, “President Arif Alvi’s perf: 1. Appointed ECP members in violation of clauses 2A and 2B of Article 213 of the Constitution. 2. Unconstitutional reference against Jus Qazi Faiz Isa 3. Needless reference on Senate election wasting SC valuable time. Did he apply mind as in Article 48(1).”
