KARACHI: Saqib Ismail Memon has been transferred and posted with immediate effect as Deputy Inspector General of Police, Counter Terrorism Department (CTD), notification announcing major reshuffles in Sindh police reads.
Mr. Muzaffar Ali Shaikh, an officer of Police Service of Pakistan (BS-20), Deputy Inspector General of Police, Establishment, CPO Sindh Karachi, has been transferred and posted as Deputy Inspector General of Police, Special Branch, Karachi, against an existing vacancy, according to notification.
According to the notification Muhammad Arif Hanif has been transferred and posted as Deputy Inspector General of Police, Sindh Reserve Police (SRP), Sindh Karachi, against an existing vacancy whereas Dr. Muhammad Amin Yousufzai has been transferred and posted as Deputy Inspector General of Police, CIA, Karachi Range vice Mr. Saqib Ismail Memon.
Amir Farooqui, Deputy Inspector General of Police, Counter Terrorism Department (CTD), Sindh, Karachi, has replaced Zulfiqar Larik as Deputy Inspector General of Police, West Zone, Karachi Range who has been transferred and posted as Deputy Inspector General of Police, East Zone, Karachi Range against an existing vacancy.
Mr. Ahmed Yar Chohan has been transferred and posted as Deputy Inspector General of Police, Shaheed Benazirabad Range whereas lqbal Dara, Deputy Inspector General of Police, Shaheed Benazirabad Range, has been transferred and posted with immediate effect and until further orders as Deputy Inspector General of Police, Traffic, Hyderabad.
According to the notification Naeem Ahmed Shaikh has been transferred and as Deputy Inspector General of Police, Headquarters, CPO Sindh Karachi vice Mr. Munir Ahmed Shaikh, PSP (BS-20), transferred and directed to report to CPO Sindh Karachi.
Mr. Javed Ali Mahar has been transferred and posted as Deputy Inspector General of Police, Establishment, CPO Sindh Karachi.
Mr. Javed Akbar Riaz has been transferred and posted as Deputy Inspector General of Police, Technical & Transport, Sindh Karachi, against an existing vacancy.
Capt. e Asim Khan has been transferred and posted as Deputy Inspector General of Police, Admn: Karachi Range, against an existing vacancy.
Mr. Naeem Ahmed Shaikh is allowed to hold the charge of the post of Deputy Inspector General of Police, Finance. CPO Sindh, Karachi, in addition to his own duties, according to notification issued by Allah Dino Khowaja, the Sindh Police chief, which further reads; “ Javed Akbar Riaz is allowed to hold the charge of the post of Deputy Inspector General of Police, Information Technology, CPO Sindh, Karachi, in addition to his own duties”.
