Mohammad Ali Jinnah Hospital transforms into a teaching hospital

KABUL (Khaama Press): According to the Pakistani embassy in Kabul, the Taliban Ministry of Public Health has approved the transformation of the Mohammad Ali Jinnah Hospital in western Kabul into a teaching hospital.
Pakistan’s ambassador to Afghanistan, Mansoor Ahmad Khan, said that he and Taliban Minister of Public Health Qalandar Ebad had signed an agreement to transform Mohammad Ali Jinnah Hospital into a teaching hospital.
The Mohammad Ali Jinnah Hospital will be turned into a teaching hospital following the implementation of this agreement.
A memorandum of understanding was also signed between the Taliban Ministry of Public Health and a team from Lahore University, according to the agreement.
The Pakistani ambassador tweeted that “a team of University of Lahore signed a Letter of Understanding for assistance in running M. A. Jinnah Hospital Kabul & upgrade its facilities to make it a teaching hospital.”
Pakistan funds and supports Mohammad Ali Jinnah Hospital, which is located west of Kabul.
