Motorbike Ambulance Service launched in Lodhran

LODHRAN: Deputy Commissioner Babar Rehman Waraich formally inaugurated the Motorcycle Ambulance Service at Central Station Rescue Emergency Service 1122 Lodhran. Punjab government has provided 50 motorcycle ambulances for Lodhran district. Chief Minister Punjab Chaudhry Pervez Elahi has provided 50 new modern motorcycle ambulances for Lodhran district in order to make the rescue 1122 service more active.

The opening ceremony of which was held in the office of Rescue 1122. District Emergency Officer and in-charge Rescue 1122 Dr. Syed Majid Ahmed, Rescue Safety Officer and other officials participated on this occasion. Speaking at the event, Deputy Commissioner Babar Rehman Waraich said that Rescue 1122 is a city-wide project of Punjab Chief Minister Chaudhry Parvez Elahi, which has been maintaining the quality of its service since its inception. He further said that Rescue Emergency 1122 is no less than a blessing for the people of Punjab.

He further said that Punjab Chief Minister is using all resources to make this service as per international standards. Deputy Commissioner Babar Rehman Waraich said that the motorcycle ambulance service is a great facility according to international standards, thanks to which full help will be available in timely rescue in case of any accident. He said that there is no example of the zeal with which the rescue staff is working.

On the directions of Punjab chief minister, Punjab Emergency Service Rescue 1122 achieved another milestone by inaugurating the Motorbike Ambulance Service in Lodhran district.

He maintained that these motorbike ambulances will be used as mini ambulances which were equipped with life-saving equipment. On the occasion, Civil society representative Muhammad Khalid Gujjar said that Punjab chief minister was making efforts for the development of South Punjab. He said the government was taking revolutionary steps in health and education sectors.
