HAFIZABAD: A young villager died on-the-spot while another seriously injured when the rickshaw in which they were travelling hit a tractor-trolley near Jalalpur Bhattian.
According to police source, Muhammad Tanveer alongwith Muhammad Sajid of Thela road Hafizabad was on way to nearby town in a rickshaw and when reached near Jalalpur Bhattian on Pindi Bhattian road, it dashed in the rear of tractor-trolley, resulting into instant death of Muhammad Tanveer while Muhammad Sajid sustained serious injuries.
The injured and the dead body have been shifted to DHQ Hospital. The tractor driver fled away after the mishap. The police have registered a case and have investigating.
