Pakistan to face Jordan in FIFA World Cup Qualifier in Islamabad on March 21, squad announced

ISLAMABAD (Monitoring Desk): Pakistan has unveiled its squad for the FIFA World Cup 2026 qualifiers against Jordan, scheduled for two rounds.

According to the channel, the Pakistan Football Federation (PFF) announced the squad which includes notable players across different positions.

As per the statement of the PFF, in the goalkeeper position, Yusuf Butt, Saqib Hanif, Hassan Ali, and Abdul Basit have been selected.

The defenders’ lineup features Essa Suleman, Abdullah Iqbal, Mamoon Mousa, Hasib Khan, Mohammad Saddam, Mohammad Sahil, Umar Hayat, Mohammad Fazal, and Mohammad Adeel.

The midfielders’ roster includes Raees Nabi, Haroon Hameed, Alamgir Ghazi, Rajab Ali, Ali Aziz, Shoaib Dost, and Abdul Samad. Additionally, the forward line comprises of Fareedullah, Waleed Khan, Imran Kiyani, and Adeel Younis.

The matches between Pakistan and Jordan are scheduled to take place on March 21 at Jinnah Stadium, Islamabad, and the second match will be played in Jordan on March 26.
