TOKYO: Pakistan’s Haider Ali has won a gold medal in discus throw at the ongoing Asian Para Games in China.
National athlete Haider Ali won the gold medal in the men’s discus event at the Asian Para Games. He threw the discus at a distance of 51.23 meters.
As many as 11 Pakistani athletes are taking part in the Asian Para Games being played in Chinese city of Hangzhou until October 28.
It may be recalled that Haider Ali had also won a gold medal for Pakistan at the 2021 Paralympics in Tokyo.
