ISLAMABAD: Aizaz Chaudhry, Pakistan’s Ambassador to Washington has said that Pakistan wants to restore peace in Afghanistan as it is in the favor of Pakistan and it is Pakistan highest wish.
While talking to local news channel, Aizaz Chaudhry said that Pakistan and US can resolve their issues if both the countries work together for the betterment of the region.
As Pakistan and Afghanistan are neighbors and Pakistan is directly affecting the situations from the Afghanistan, therefore no one is more interested and wishes peace in Afghanistan than Pakistan, he said.
“Pakistan sacrifices needs to be acknowledged in the war against terrorism” he said.
Aizaz Chaudhry said that Pakistan has taken so much practical steps and rendered sacrifices in war against terrorism.
