PHC dismisses writ against recruitment

PESHAWAR: A divisional bench comprising of Chief Justice Peshawar High Court (PHC) Justice Qaiser Rashid and Justice Abdul Shakoor has dismissed writ petition against recruitment at National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) on Deputy Assistant Director (DAD) and Junior Executive, on Thursday.

The divisional bench of PHC has declared NADRA’s decision right while counsel for petitioner argued that position for advertised for district Mardan while officials were recruited belonging from other places.

During hearing Deputy Director NADRA Abdur Rauf and Law Officer Mubark Jan informed that one petitioner was dropped because he holding degree in tourism while criteria was degree in information technology or business administration. They added that the other petitioner was stand at 27th at merit list while 14 posts were available.

The divisional bench comprising of Chief Justice PHC Justice Qaiser Rashid and Justice Abdul Shakoor dismissed writ petition while declared NADRA’s decision valid.
