PHC orders Atif Khan to appear today

PESHAWAR: A divisional bench of Peshawar High Court (PHC) comprising of Justice Abdul Shakoor and Justice Syed Arshad Ali has granted bail in all cases to Pakistan Tehreek Insaf (PTI) Atif Khan and ordered to appear court today (on Friday).
The counsel argued that raids are conducting Atif Khan’s residence, factories and other offices while concerned authorities didn’t providing record of cases and added that last day another bench has excused from hearing writ, so it fixed on Thursday for arguments.
However, Justice Arshad Ali observed that why you shouldn’t appear before the court? The counsel argued that on appearance petitioner either be arrest or will be disappear.
Consequently, Justice Arshad Ali observed that you should surrender before the law, however, the counsel argued that Atif Khan also pleaded for interim bail because he may be arrest earlier than his appearance before court.
PHC’s divisional bench has granted interim bail to Atif Khan in all cases and ordered to appear before court today (on Friday) while Additional Advocate General Danayal Asad Chamkani opposed the bail and argued that petition is not maintainable because Nadeem Shah Advocate is not aggrieved person.
