PML-N to reveal its party manifesto for Feb 8 polls on Saturday

F.P. Report

LAHORE: The Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) is all geared up to unveil its manifesto for the upcoming general election on Jan 27, following a prolonged delay.

The manifesto titled ‘Nawaz grants the true manifesto’ (Pakistan ko sachy manshoor se Nawaz do), the manifesto underscores PMLN’s claim to possess the solution for all of Pakistan’s crises.

The PMLN narrative is “Pakistan should be granted to people of May 28 ones, not May 9”.

The central theme of the PMLN narrative is anchored in the belief that Pakistan should be entrusted to Nawaz Sharif, emphasizing his pivotal role in making Pakistan a nuclear power through the successful conduct of nuclear tests on May 28.

In contrast, PMLN alleges that the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) attacked state institutions and fomented social unrest during the May 9 riots.

According to reports, the manifesto outlines both long-term and short-term plans aimed at providing public relief. Additionally, it includes measures for reducing electricity bills and ensuring the completion of projects associated with the Special Investment Facilitation Council (SIFC).

The manifesto is scheduled to be presented in a ceremony graced by the party’s supremo and three-time prime minister, Nawaz Sharif, who will serve as the chief guest.

Prominent party leaders, including Shehbaz Sharif, Maryam Nawaz, Hamza Shehbaz, Ishaq Dar, and others, would also part of the launching cermony of the manifesto.
