Former tehsil mayor Zubair Afridi, Shah Khalid and Syed Nawab were also among those who announced joining PML-N.

Tehreek-e-Islahat Pakistan chief Shahji Gul Afridi announced merging his party into PML-N.

PML-N leader Murtaza Javed Abbasi welcomed Shahji Gul Afridi, the founder of Tehreek-e-Islahat Pakistan, and his colleagues into the party fold.

“Mian Nawaz Sharif loves the country. PML-N thwarted attempts to destabilise the country. Nawaz Sharif and PML-N saved the country from disintegration. If Nawaz Sharif had committed corruption, he would have plea-bargained like others,” Shahji Gul Afridi said on the occasion.
