Sindh to establish relief camps for collecting donations for Turkiye, Syria Earthquake victims, says Sharjeel

KARACHI: Provincial minister for Information Sharjeel Inam Memon has said that on the instructions of Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah, relief camps are being established across the province to collect relief items for victims of Turkiye and Syria earthquake. He said that camps will start functioning in every district headquarter of Sindh from Friday.

In a statement, The provincial minister has appealed to the people of Sindh to donate warm clothes, blankets   and daily use items in these camps with generosity.

He said that the public should deposit cash donations in the relief fund established by the Prime Minister of Pakistan, while the relief items should be donated in the relief camps established by the Sindh government in each district headquarter.

The Minister said that special prayers will be also be offered for the earthquake victims in juma prayers throughout the province.

He said that it is our responsibility to help the people of Turkiye and Syria in their difficult times. He added that Sindh government and Pakistan People’s Party are standing with the earthquake victims of Turkiye and Syria in this difficult time.
