HYDERABAD: The South African cricket team captain, Temba Bavuma, will return home from India before the ICC Cricket World Cup matches.
Media reports said that Bavuma was returning home due to family reasons and owing to this he would not play the World Cup warm-up matches.
Eden Markram will lead the South Africa team in warm-up matches scheduled against Afghanistan and New Zealand.
The South African cricket team arrived in India this week for the ICC World Cup 2023.
