Sport necessary for Journalists who lead hectic life: Asad Qaiser

PESHAWAR: Speaker Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly Asad Qaiser on Wednesday said that sport was necessary for Journalists who lead hectic life in pursuit of news and face odds in fields, therefore they need to spare sometime for sports to relive stress and lead healthy life.

Addressing inauguration ceremony of 2nd RMI Media Cricket League (MCL) here, the KP Assembly Speaker said that International Institutions has declared KP corruption free province and honored its promises made the masses during election campaign.

The speaker regarding MCL said that sport was necessary for Journalists who lead hectic life in pursuit of news and face odds in fields, therefore they need to spare sometime for sports to relive stress and lead healthy life.

He said that the government would provide all necessary facilities to Journalists community for sports and discharging professional duties. He urged media men to cover day to day events with objectivity.

He said that government was taking tangible measures to provide more sports facilities for the youth of the province as they are architect of future of the nation and hold reins of the country to lead it to era of socio economic development.

He said that Chief Minister Punjab Shahbaz Sharif should visit KP to see the development and facilities for the masses in the province. He said that Ameer Muqam has invited him to KP and we will welcome.

He said that the provincial government has started different developmental projects after its completion the people would be facilitated more at their door step.

The Speaker expressed optimism that Pakistan Tehrik-e-Insaf would sweep general elections in throughout the country on the basis of its performance.
