Teachers role in development of students vital

HAFIZABAD: Teachers should use their skills and professional abilities to educate and train the students in such a way that they become active, industrious and useful members of society. Educational Institutions are the first place of students where their personality can be nurtured. Educational Institutions of Hafizabad have experienced and skilled teachers. Make our young generation the bright Pakistan of tomorrow.
Deputy Commissioner Muhammad Asif Raza expressed these views while addressing a gathering of officers of education department and head teachers of public and private educational institutions. CEO Education Javed Iqbal Babar also addressed the gathering.
Deputy Commissioner Muhammad Asif Raza said that a roadmap has been prepared by the Education Department headed by the CEO Education so that the teachers are aware of the plan under which we have to provide education to the children as well as their socialization. He said that academic and literary competitions should be held in all educational institutions to increase the self-confidence of children during the assembly. The Deputy Commissioner said that cleanliness is half faith but it is unfortunate to say that the condition of cleanliness in schools is unsatisfactory.
He said that the teachers themselves should work with the children to increase the trend of cleanliness in the schools. Competition will be held in all the schools of the district and the first place school will be given a prize of Rs. 50,000/-. He said that teachers are the most respected personalities of our society and they are the ones who make the country and the nation strong. He urged head teachers to work hard for character building of the students along with academic achievements.
CEO Education Javed Iqbal Babar said that head teachers and teachers are the grace of the education department. If they work hard for character building and provide facilities like science labs, computer labs and library books to the students, the achievements of the department would be distinguishing in the province. He also focused on cleanliness of schools and debate competitions among students.
Meanwhile, at Jinnah Public Hall, Hafizabad, poor deserving women receiving assistance under ‘Ehsas Kifalat programme’ started getting humiliated and disgraced due to poor arrangements. Not only are their clothes torn but many women faint in the heat and confinement due to lack of alignment. There are no canopies or washrooms for these poor women. As a result, dozens of women, after being humiliated and eaten here from morning till evening, go back home without any help. Affected poor women have demanded the Deputy Commissioner to make appropriate arrangements for the women seeking help on the lawn of Jinnah Public Hall Hafizabad.
