Turkey ready to cooperate with Afghan health sector

KABUL (Agencies): Dr. Qalandar Ebad, Acting Minister of Public Health, in a meeting with the Turkish Ambassador in Kabul, discussed the expansion of that country’s cooperation in the health sector with Afghanistan.
In the meeting, the Turkish ambassador emphasized on the continuation of the cooperation of this country in the health sector of Afghanistan and promised to cooperate in order to improve the supply of medical and educational services.
Dr. Ebad thanked Turkey for its cooperation in Afghanistan’s health sector and asked for more cooperation from this country in the sectors of improving the supply of health services, training Afghan doctors, expanding health services in the white areas and taking inspiration from Turkey’s health structures.
The Afghanistan’s health sector is a non-political institution and this institution needs the cooperation of international partners, Dr. Ebad added.
