TIMERGARA: Unknown assailants here Wednesday gunned down two suspected terrorists in police custody while being shifted for identification parade in the jurisdiction of LalQila police station, police said.
The alleged terrorists were identified Hamidulla alias Mohammadae s/o Zainullah and Osama Saeed s/o Mohammad Saeed residents of Dir were arrested by Counter Terrorism police over their alleged involvement in killing of two police officials deployed on polio duty on December 18, 2019.
The terrorists were arrested a few days, back, police told media, adding that they were ambushed in village Markhana area and were killed on the spot however police team remained unhurt in the incident. The police shifted the dead bodies to DHQ for postpartum.
