PESHAWAR: As many as 11978 vacancies of teachers in government schools of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa have been revealed with the posts of female and male teachers of scale 12 and 15 belonging to different cadres.
Planning to conduct a test for recruitment through the Education Testing Agency of the Education Department, a document of the education department Khyber Pakhtunkhwa revealed. It is likely to start the process of registration of candidates from next month. A total of 1174 vacancies of certificate teachers in scale 15 in boys’ schools are vacant while 390 posts of drawing masters, 388 posts of scale 15 physical education teachers are vacant, highlighted the documents.
Besides this 424 posts of Arabic teachers, 302 posts of scale 15 theology teachers are vacant in schools, 195 posts of 12th scale reader and 75 posts of 12th scale CTIT need to be filled, the documents revealed. As many as 4330 posts of male school teachers are vacant in primary school and a total of 7275 posts of male teachers have been identified as vacant.
A total of 558 posts of CT, 272 posts of drawing masters are vacant in girls’ schools and 305 posts of physical education teachers, 312 posts of Arabic teachers need to be filled, said the documents. Furthermore 140 posts of theology teachers, 103 posts of readers and 56 posts of CTI ATI, are vacant, documents said. Likewise 2957 posts of primary school teachers are vacant and a total of 4,703 teacher posts are vacant in female schools, said documents.
