LAHORE: During the ongoing crackdown against gas pilferers, SNGPL continued raids in Punjab, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Islamabad, disconnecting another 193 connections while imposing fine of Rs. 16.4 million and 592 under billing cases processed.
In Lahore, the regional team disconnected 54 connections on illegal use of gas and another 4 on use of compressor, 53 Under billing cases have been processed and amount of Rs 12.33 booked against gas theives and under billing cases. In Bahawalpur, the regional team disconnected four connections on use of compressor and 21 Under billing cases have been processed, fine imposed 0.002m against under billing cases . The company disconnected 4 connections on illegal use of gas ,33 Under billing cases have been processed and fine of Rs 0.09 Million imposed against gas pilferers in Multan. In Sheikhupura, 21 on illegal use of gas and 37 Under billing cases have been processed, amount of Rs 0.41 booked against gas theives and Under billing cases.
In Peshawar, the company disconnected 55 connections on account of direct use of gas and illegal connections,15 under billing cases have been processed. The regional team also lodged 2 FIRs against gas thieves and also imposed fine of Rs 1.47 against gas theives.In Rawalpindi the regional team disconnected 18 gas connection on illegal use .In Mardan Four connections were disconnected against illegal use of gas while imposing fine of Rs 0.10 million. In Sialkot, the team disconnected one gas connection and imposed fine of Rs 0.02 gainst gas pilferes .
The regional team in Gujranwala 39 under billing cases processed and 2 meters were disconnected on the use of compressor and 2 on illegal use of gas. The region also imposed fine of Rs. 0.36 million on gas theft and under billing cases. The company disconnected 14 connections on illegal use of gas and 12 Under billing cases processed in Islamabad.
The team also imposed fine 0.49 million Rupees. In Sahiwal, three connections were disconnected on illegal use of gas. In Faisalabad 20 under billing cases processed and three connections were disconnected on illegal use of gas. Fine of Rs. 0.28 million was also imposed against gas pilferers .
The Regional team in Abbottabad also disconnected 01 connection on illegal use of gas.The team in Gujarat disconnected 3 connections on illegal use of gas,322 under billing cases have been processed and also booked an amount of Rs 0.87 against gas theft and under billing cases. In Sargodha, the company booked 40 Under billing cases and also imposed fine of Rs0.02 million against under billing cases.
