PESHAWAR: The Cantonment Board Special Magistrate MS Wazir along with traffic police impounded 32 vehicles over wrong parking in Cantt premises.
On the directives of Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Cantonment Board, the Special Magistrate Ms Wazir, while teaming up with Traffic In Charge Faqair Hussain along with enforcement staff, took an action vehicles had been parked outside parking areas or parked in wrong places on Saddar and Arbab roads.
During the action, Ms Wazir impounded 32 vehicles and fined the owners or drivers. The impounded vehicles also include a few motorcycles.
Speaking to media persons, Ms Wazir said that a few individuals have registered complaints that due to wrong and improper parking of vehicles on Saddar and Arbab roads they have been facing huge problems.
She added that action against vehicles was taken after frequent complaints of the individuals.
She maintained that drive against the persons who have been in habit of parking their vehicles in wrong places would be continued.
