Air raids leaves 11 rebels dead in Urozgan

TARINKOT CITY (Agencies): At least 11 terrorists were killed and four more were injured following air attacks carried out by Afghan air forces in Urozgan province.

The insurgents have been targeted in different parts of Khas Urozgan district and Tarinkot city the provincial capital of the province within the last 24 hours.

Atal army corps in the south of the country reported that, 11 Taliban fighters were killed and four others were wounded during the air raids.

Taliban said nothing about the air attacks and casualties so far.

Meanwhile, Afghan security personnel by discovering and neutralizing seven round of mines, succeeded to prevent several bloodiest incidents in crowded areas of Urozgan province.

Taliban fighters are responsible for the foiled mine plantings, local officials say in Urozgan.
