PESHAWAR: Former MNA Asma Alamgir has said on Thursday that Aleema Khan name should be in Exit Control List (ECL) and also reference should be filed against the Defense Minister Pervaiz Khattak and Chief Minister Mehmood Khan.
This she told to media persons after appearing in the accountability court, she added that we are free from the corruption and we love our country. We are not against the accountability but through accountability exploitation is not justice. She criticized the current government and said NAB is only for the opposition, accountably should be same for all of us.
She claimed that National Accountably Bureau (NAB) from 4 years has not found any type of fraud against us however they only became in action on differences in counting of our legal assets, if NAB proof 300 million rupees corruption then we are ready for the trail.
NAB Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has filed reference against Ex-Federal Minister for Communications Dr. Arbab Alamgir Khan, and his wife Ex-MNA Asama Alamgir
NAB officials had said that during investigation it was revealed that accused persons has accumulated huge assets worth millions of rupees which in unequal to his known legal sources of income. Taking cognizance of the case NAB Khyber Pakhtunkhwa started investigation into the matter to ascertain the real facts.
During the Course of inquiry and investigation, it was revealed that the accused has accumulated assets of worth millions of rupees Disproportionate to his known sources of income, NAB added.
NAB officials s further added that this reference is pertaining to the assets in Pakistan whereas, supplementary Reference regarding their foreign assets will be filed after receipt of documentary evidence through Mutual legal assistance.
